The ALA's biggest, most popular event happens each March at the Corbett Wildlife Management Area. Huck Finn Family Day is a celebration of old time family fun and values.

The celebration of Acreage lifestyle draws between 1200-1800 residents annually. The event runs from 11:00am to approximately 4:00pm and includes old time BBQ, a petting zoo, swamp buggy rides, snow cones, cotton candy, fishing, canoeing, face painting, baking contests, wildlife shows, magicians and non-stop musical entertainment! Some folks even dress in period style clothing like the days on the Mississippi and everyone gets in ton the Tom Sawyer fence painting. The cots of food and admission is somewhere around $5.00. How can you beat that foe a full day of fun!
